The Bus Terminal Project is about the construction of an international bus terminal in Blantyre City. The Council proposes to invite reputable local and international organizations to provide proposals for the construction of an international bus terminal on a revenue sharing basis. The service provider shall design, build, finance, operate, maintain and transfer all bus terminal facilities to the Council upon expiry of the contract period.
For these two projects, the Commission has requested World Bank support for feasibility study under World Bank’s financing for the Transport Asset Management and safety Project.
Feasibility study for this project will commence as soon as the finances re available.
